I'm one of those people that read tons of blogs and never comment...but reading just a few of your posts have moved me to say something. What you are writing about is beautiful. I'm new to FA and reading a bunch of "101" posts, but nothing has described the fat experience as well as what you write here. The whole time I thought, "those are the feelings I always wanted to express, that is the feeling I get that I can't put into words" so thank you so much for expressing it so eloquently.

You are brilliant. I am totally taking your references. AND I can't wait to see more of your work. Sexual subjectivity is only a small part of my dissertation now, but I am still very excited about sexual subjectivity and fatness.

Thanks. I enjoyed your essay a lot. It doesn't surprise me that fat bodies are ignored in corporal theory. They're pretty much ignored - shunned, really - everywhere in our society.

Caught a typo though: "Corpulence is the repressed and silence other of corporeal theory." It should be "silenced," right?
